BIGORRA Y MIR ARQUITECTOS has developed an important number of interventions in Granada’s historical neighborhoods of the Albaicín and Sacromonte, with both renovations and new constructions.
In this work efforts have been made to preserve typologies and expressive elements typical of the neighborhoods’ architecture, of undoubtable Arabic roots.
Constructive elements of interests (bars, woods, etc.) are preserved and restored and new ones are integrated through the use of traditional materials and the work of artisans formed in the old methods of construction.
Complex located in the Sacromonte neighborhood of Granada, with terraces, bars, shops, artisanal workshops, and both an outdoors and an indoors auditorium. The original caves were outfitted to serve as restaurants.
